David Lucas was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on June 12, 1964. While growing up in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, he attended school in the Hempfield Area School District. After graduating high school, he attended The Pennsylvania State University during the years of 1982-1986. While at Penn State, David was a member of the Penn State University Golf Team and graduated with a B.S. majoring in Real Estate.

Upon graduation from The Pennsylvania State University, David attended the University of Dayton School of Law from 1986-1989. After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Dayton School of Law, he accepted a position with the litigation firm of Henderson and Goldberg in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The firm concentrated its practice on personal injury, toxic torts, and asbestos litigation. Thereafter, David accepted a position with the Greensburg firm of Stewart, McCormick, McArdle & Sorice. This firm concentrated its practice on domestic relation matters, divorce, custody, support, estate planning, estate administration, probate, and real estate matters.

In 1993, David started his own practice and, with his associates, represents clients in Westmoreland County, Allegheny County, Somerset County, Washington County, and the Fayette County area, including Greensburg, Youngwood, New Stanton, Irwin, North Huntingdon, Jeannette, Latrobe, Ligonier, Mount Pleasant, Scottdale and New Kensington.

David's current areas of practice include estate planning (preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Living Trusts), estate administration, probate, domestic matters (divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, protections from abuse), real estate (purchases, acquisitions, leases, agreements of sale), and litigation.

David has also developed and participates in a significant referral system for all matters of representation. To the extent that a client has a specific need, David has developed relationships with attorneys from this area and others in an effort to further assist the needs of any existing and/or new clients.
