David K. Lucas & Associates was founded in 1991 with a singular vision: to provide the residents of Greensburg and Westmoreland County with a high-end, sophisticated legal resource that combines technical expertise with a deeply human approach.
Over the past 30+ years, we have grown into one of the region's most respected firms specializing in family law, estate planning, and probate administration. Our growth has been fueled by a commitment to results and a reputation for honesty.

Team

DAVID K. LUCAS, Esq.
David Lucas was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on June 12, 1964. While growing up in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, he attended school in the Hempfield Area School District. After graduating high school, he attended The Pennsylvania State University during the years of 1982-1986. While at Penn State, David was a member of the Penn State University Golf Team and graduated with a B.S. majoring in Real Estate.
Upon graduation from The Pennsylvania State University, David attended the University of Dayton School of Law from 1986-1989. After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Dayton School of Law, he accepted a position with the litigation firm of Henderson and Goldberg in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The firm concentrated its practice on personal injury, toxic torts, and asbestos litigation. Thereafter, David accepted a position with the Greensburg firm of Stewart, McCormick, McArdle & Sorice. This firm concentrated its practice on domestic relation matters, divorce, custody, support, estate planning, estate
administration, probate, and real estate matters.
In 1993, David started his own practice and, with his associates, represents clients in Westmoreland County, Allegheny County, Somerset County, Washington County, and the Fayette County area, including Greensburg, Youngwood, New Stanton, Irwin, North Huntingdon, Jeannette, Latrobe, Ligonier, Mount Pleasant, Scottdale and New Kensington.
David's current areas of practice include estate planning (preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Living Trusts), estate administration, probate, domestic matters (divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, protections from abuse), real estate (purchases, acquisitions, leases, agreements of sale), and litigation.
David has also developed and participates in a significant referral system for all matters of representation. To the extent that a client has a specific need, David has developed relationships with attorneys from this area and others in an effort to further assist the needs of any existing and/or new clients.

BRITTNEY E. REAY, Esq.
Brittney is a 2011 graduate from Hempfield Area High School. She went on to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 2015. Following graduation from IUP, Brittney attended law school at the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.
While there Brittney served on the Ohio Northern University Law Review. She also was a certified legal intern for the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office from 2015-2018. She graduated from Ohio Northern cum laude in 2018.
Following graduation, she returned home to Western Pennsylvania and began working as an associate attorney with another local firm. While there she her practice included: family law, criminal defense, commercial litigation, and municipal liability. She joined David K. Lucas and Associates PLLC in the fall of 2023 where she focuses her practice on domestic matters including: divorce, custody, support, complex equitable distribution and protection from abuse matters. She is currently the lead attorney on all domestic relation matters at David K. Lucas & Associates, PLLC.

DIANA C.
Diana is a lifelong resident of Westmoreland County. After graduating high school, Diana attend Westmoreland County Community College and graduated in 1993 with her Associates Degree.
In 1994, Diana began her employment with David K. Lucas and Associates PLLC. Her positions with the firm have included estate planning, estate administration, probate, domestic matters including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, real estate and litigation.
Currently, Diana, with her thirty-three years of experience, is the acting office manager and in charge of all estate planning and probate matters in the office.

HEATHER B.
Heather is a lifelong resident of Westmoreland County. While growing up in the Evanstown area, she attended school at Hempfield Area High School.
Heather joined the firm in 2015. Her current responsibilities with the firm include lead admin on all matters of domestic relations including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution and PFA’s. She is also an instrumental part in the real estate and litigation support practice.
